Your Sunday message, shared all week.

You focus on your congregation. We’ll take care of social media, turning each week’s sermon into posts your people can see, share and come back to.

Your church has something worth sharing.

Every week, hours of prayer, study and preparation go into Sunday’s message. Then Monday comes, and most of it stays in the room.

Churchside helps that message keep speaking all week, carrying God’s Word beyond the walls of your church. It reaches your members on their own devices, neighbours across your local community, and people around the world who may never have walked through your doors.

Your part stays small: record the sermon, send it to us with any photos you’d like shared, and look over the posts before they go out. We handle everything in between. Social media shouldn’t become another job for your pastor.

Three simple steps.

If you already record or livestream on Sunday, you’re most of the way there.

  1. 1

    Send us Sunday’s sermon

Share your sermon video, livestream link or recording, plus any photos you’d like shared. A link in an email is plenty.

    Your main part each week.
  2. 2

    We create the content

We find the meaningful moments in the message and shape them into short videos, graphics, carousels and written posts.

  3. 3

    Review and share

You look everything over and ask for any changes. Once it’s approved, we can schedule and post it for you.

What you get, every week

Here’s one real week. Everything below came from a single sermon at St. Paul’s in Nobleton: “A Study in Contrast,” on Mark 10:13–31.

The caption we wrote

Jesus invites us to come with open hands, not a list of accomplishments. We cannot earn salvation through good works, wealth, or status. It is a gift of grace through faith in Him.

What might be competing for your loyalty today?

We can publish through the week so you don’t have to.

Your church should still sound like your church.

We use your church’s logo, colours, fonts and way of speaking, so every post feels familiar to the people who know you best.

We take care with your tradition and your theology, too. If a word or a phrase isn’t quite how your congregation would say it, we change it.

Church A
“Come to me, all who are weary.”
A traditional congregation
Church B
Come to me, all who are weary.
Matthew 11:28
A younger, casual congregation

Same verse, two churches. Each one looks like itself.

The sermon is the foundation. It isn’t the whole story.

Send us photos and news from the life of your church, and we’ll help share those too. Your community gets to see what it’s like to belong.

  • Photos from church life
  • Events and gatherings
  • Announcements
  • Baptisms and milestones
  • Outreach and service
  • Children and youth ministry
  • Men’s and women’s groups
  • Community suppers

No good photos? We can help with that.

For an extra fee, we can send a photographer to a Sunday service or a special event. You’ll get a library of photos of your church that we can use in posts all year. Available for churches within about an hour of Toronto.

Sean Chin, founder of Churchside

Hi, I’m Sean.

I’m Sean Chin, the founder of Churchside. I serve in my own local church and have spent years creating stories, video and digital content.

Churchside grew out of seeing how many churches have a meaningful message to share, but simply don’t have the time, staff or experience to keep up with social media.

My goal is simple: help churches share the message they’re already preaching with more people throughout the week, without asking pastors to become content creators.

Questions pastors ask us

What do you need from us each week?

Usually just your sermon video or livestream link, plus any photos, announcements or church-life moments you’d like included. We handle the rest.

How much extra work will this create for our pastor?

Not much. Each week, someone records the sermon and sends us the link, along with any photos you’d like shared. Then you look over the posts before they go out. We take care of everything in between.

Do we need professional video equipment?

No. If your church already records or livestreams the sermon, that’s usually enough. We work with your existing footage and can suggest simple improvements if they’d help.

How quickly will our content be ready?

Content from Sunday’s message is prepared during the following week, so your church keeps speaking well beyond Sunday morning.

Will the posts look like our church?

Yes. We use your logo, colours, fonts and visual style wherever we can, so your posts look and sound like you.

Do I need to understand social media?

Not at all. That’s one of the reasons Churchside exists. We keep things simple and leave the jargon out.

Can we review posts before they go live?

Always. You see everything first and can ask for changes before anything is published.

What about revisions?

Reasonable revisions are part of every week. If a word, a theological nuance or a design detail isn’t right, tell us and we’ll fix it.

Which platforms do you support?

Facebook and Instagram. Our short sermon videos can also be posted to YouTube Shorts.

Do you post the content for us?

Yes. Once you’ve approved the week’s content, we schedule and publish it, so no one at your church has to.

Can you include church events and announcements?

Yes. Sermons are the foundation, but we’re glad to help share the wider life of your congregation too.

What if we don’t have good photos?

We can send a photographer to a Sunday service or a special event for an extra fee. You’ll come away with a library of photos we can use in your posts all year long.

How long is the contract?

Six months. That gives your church time to settle into a weekly rhythm and see what steady, consistent posting can do.

Does our church need to be in a certain area?

No. Churchside works entirely online, so we can serve churches anywhere. In-person photography is available for churches within about an hour of Toronto.

Who is Churchside for?

Churches that know communicating online matters, but don’t have the staff, time or expertise to keep it up week after week.

Let’s talk about your church.

No sales pitch. Just a conversation about where your church is and whether Churchside would help. We’ll get back to you within two business days.
